ATTACHING CARBON WING TO CARBON RAILED SADDLE
Standard metal saddle rails are 7mm diameter, but carbon rails are a 7mm by 9mm oval. The Kit includes two rails clips that have a wider hump or bridge shape to accommodate the wider rails. These wider clips mount on the OUTSIDE of the XLAB carriers.
You will need either a Torque wrench or 4mm 'T' handle Hexagonal wrench, and a 8mm open ended wrench. The end of the clip that has the round hole is positioned above the rails and the oval hole will be below the rail. The sequence of hardware assembly is:
M5 Socket Head Cap Screw passing through the Wider Humped Clip, M5 Steel Plain Washer, M5 Aluminum Washer, Carbon Wing side, Aluminum Reinforcer Plate with 2 holes from original Carbon Wing and Nyloc Nut. See photo below for sequence of fastener for one side. The Carbon Wing chassis arm fits between the larger aluminum washers and the long 2 holed Aluminum Reinforcer plate.

See photo below showing clip installed. Silver clip shown for clarity.

Mount the Carbon Wing so that the upper part touches the rear of the saddle. Mount bottom cage screw through the front hole of the three lower holes to get an incline on the cages.
