Heart rate curve doesn't appear on the screen after data transfer, only red lap marks can be seen if LAP button has been pressed during the exercise. See picture below.

Reason for this is that the file has been recorded in LAP mode, in another words, heart rate monitor records only LAP times when STORE/LAP/RECOVERY button is pressed. Lap times indicates momentary heart rate value when the button is pressed.

Software isn't able to draw a curve if the file has been saved in lap mode because it doesn't include heart rate curve data,

If you want to see heart rate curve, you need to change recording interval from your heart rate monitor to 5, 15 or 60 seconds.

In most of Polar heart rate monitors there are four different alternatives how often the heart rate is recorded.

Alternatives are:
INT 5 Heart rate s recorded every 5 seconds
INT 15 Heart rate s recorded every 15 seconds
INT 60 Heart rate s recorded every 60 seconds
LAP - - Average heart rate of the lap is recorded by pressing STORE/LAP/RECOVERY

Alternatives INT 5, INT 15 and INT 60 save averaged heart rate data after every 5, 15 or 60 seconds automatically.

Same phenomenon can be seen also from Open Exercise dialogue if you select an exercise that has been recorded in lap mode. Text Int times indicates that.
